Alice P.

I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC Davis and a B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA, and I completed a postdoc at UCLA. I tutor general, organic, and inorganic chemistry and biochemistry, subjects I have both used daily in the lab and taught for years. My research used organic, inorganic, and organometallic synthesis, NMR and IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography. That hands-on experience helps me show students how to work through a mechanism, interpret a molecular structure, or read a spectrum.
