Andrew S.

Hello! I'm Andrew and I am currently an assistant professor at FIU. I teach large organic chemistry (180 students) courses there, and absolutely love it. I really enjoy connecting with students and getting them to those ""a-ha"" moments! I received a bachelor's degree in 2013 and a PhD in organic chemistry in 2018. I served as a teaching assistant for a total of 4 years in graduate school, taught one semester as an adjunct professor, and Spring 2026 was my first semester as an Assistant Professor.
