Hi! I’m a published children’s and young adult author, educator, and writing tutor specializing in college application essays. I help students write essays that sound like themselves — not like AI, or their parents or teacher, and definitely not like a generic application essay. My focus is on authentic voice: that includes brainstorming, finding the specific story that no one else could write, shaping a clear structure, revising for specificity, and polishing that final draft. I have an M.Ed.
