I am trained to the Orton-Gillingham gold standard of reading remediation for readers with dyslexia. Yet, I am different from your standard OG reading interventionist. Usually, you get 50 minutes of phonics and 10 minutes of reading, in decodable texts. These are texts which do not include anything your child does not already know.
