For as long as I can remember, I have been a math teacher at heart. Even at six years old, while other kids dreamed of being astronauts or athletes, I knew my calling was in the classroom. My official career began in a middle school classroom, where I spent three incredible years pouring my energy into my students—a journey that culminated in being named Teacher of the Year.
