If your student is struggling in Algebra, they are not alone. I am a public school mathematics teacher with more than 11 years of classroom experience teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry. Over the years I have also taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, which has given me a strong understanding of how mathematical ideas build on one another. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education as well as an MBA, and I work with students every day who are trying to make sense of the transition into Algebra.
