I hold a BS in Physics from Brigham Young University with a math minor, a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. Since graduating, I've worked as a postdoc at BYU and two national laboratories, and published papers in which applying math was a central component.
