I graduated with a separate MS (Miami U of Ohio) and PhD (Virginia Tech) in physics. In both grad schools I did a lot of teaching assistant work constituting mainly labs, homework recitation, and one-on-one homework questions. I also did some lecturing (Physics of Sports, and 1st semester Classical Mechanics).
