I have been a software developer for five years, working with banking software specifically. A good portion of my job deals with using SQL in the form of database maintenance, or exploratory work. I have a passion for SQL because it is a language you can use to “think” with. Being able to effectively communicate with a database is an invaluable skill that is shockingly easy to pick up. I love being able to help others get creative with the language and use it to think outside the box.
